Up for Adoption

Zeus is a 7yr old neutered male Akita for adoption, 85 lb and fawn with a black mask. He is updated on vaccines and heartworm and fecal negative. This beautiful boy was originally found as a stray and never claimed so he was safely taken into rescue. Zeus is the picture of the perfect gentleman. He is a sweet and gentle dog that absolutely loves people. He loves to take long walks and is great on a leash, housebroken, IS GOOD WITH CATS, and is polite to friendly dogs. This calm teddybear has deep soulful eyes just begging to be loved by a family again. Zeus has captured the hearts of all whom have met him. He always greets visitors with a wag of the tail and a nudge to be petted. He is a handsome boy that walks with a regal grace and dignity, but right now he is very confused as to why he is not part of a loving family. He would love to be a special companion again to the right person or family. Adoption fee and contract, reference check, and home visit may apply. If you feel you are the right home for Zeus, please email Cindy at dogncatgirl@yahoo.com

Robin Hood is a 3yr old neutered male Akita for adoption, sable/white in color and 80lb. He is heartworm and fecal negative, microchipped, and updated on vaccines. This magnificent bear of a dog is typical Akita, friendly but is reserved and indifferent to new people until he gets to know them; then he is a really affectionate sweetheart. Robin Hood walks well on leash and is housebroken. He loves other dogs (big and small) and would do great in a home with another calm or playful but friendly female dog. He also basically ignores cats and would probably do well in a household with one. Robin Hood is best in a home with kids over 12 and a family that is willing to give him a routine and good leadership through regular obedience training. This handsome dog is lost without a family to bond to and really wants to learn how to please those he loves. He loves to go on walks and new adventures and has a real appreciation for accompanying his family on different outings. Adoption fee and contract, possible home visit and reference check apply. If you feel you are the family Robin Hood needs to go from rags to riches himself, please email Cindy at dogncatgirl@yahoo.com

If you, or someone you know, is looking for a new companion, please consider one of the many homeless animals up for adoption through local animal shelters and rescue organizations.  Too many pets are put to sleep daily because of overcrowding and not enough good homes.  Also please have your pet spayed or neutered!
